MOSCOW September 05, 2024 (Saba) - Russian defenses late on Wednesday destroyed seven Ukrainian drones over three Russian provinces, in addition to two drone boats in the Black Sea.
A statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense said that the air defense systems on duty shot down a shell from the "Olkha" rocket launcher and two drones in the skies of Belgorod, three drones over the Kursk lands, and two other drones over the Bryansk lands.
The statement explained that two drone boats were also destroyed in the northeastern part of the Black Sea.
"Earlier last night, an attack by drone boats was repelled after sirens of a sea drone attack were sounded in the city. The alert was lifted later in the morning," Novorossiysk Mayor Andrei Kravchenko said on Telegram.
