Al-Huwaitat tribe says our son's sacrifice reflects solidarity with Palestinian people

AMMAN - SABA: Al-Huwaitat tribe and the family of Jordanian martyr Maher Diab al-Jazi have stated that their son's actions were a natural response driven by deep loyalty to his religion, homeland, and Arab identity, in light of the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, especially the atrocities in Gaza.

In a statement released on Monday, the tribe emphasized that the blood of their martyred son is not more precious than the blood of the Palestinian people, asserting that their martyr will not be the last to sacrifice. It underscored the tribe's historical role as a steadfast supporter of national and Arab causes, alongside the Jordanian leadership.

The statement attributed the violence at al-Karameh crossing to the actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government, condemning the atrocities committed against Palestinians in Gaza and beyond as unacceptable and unimaginable.

The tribe held Netanyahu fully accountable for the situation, asserting their unwavering commitment to the nation and their role as defenders against conspiracies targeting their country.

In Jordan, the hashtags "the heroic martyr" and "the attacker of the operation" trended on the platform X, reflecting national support for al-Jazi’s actions. Jordanians viewed the operation as a response to the Zionist aggression and the severe impact of the occupation on Palestinians across all occupied territories.

Maher Diab al-Jazi, born April 28, 1985, from Ma'an, was affiliated with al-Huwaitat clan in Adhruh area. His family and tribe continue to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian cause and condemn the ongoing violence against their people.
