WASHINGTON - (Saba): The US Energy Information Administration has announced a rise in Iraq's oil exports to America during the past week.
The Iraqi Information Agency on Sunday said a table published by the administration on its official website showed that "the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from nine major countries amounted to 5.787 million barrels per day, up by 911 thousand barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 4.876 million barrels per day."
It added: "Iraq's oil exports to America amounted to 222,000 barrels per day last week, up by 21,000 barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 201,000 barrels per day."
The administration pointed out that "the most oil revenues of America during the past week came from Canada at a rate of 4.026 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with an average of 510 thousand barrels per day, followed by Saudi Arabia with an average of 326 thousand barrels per day, from Colombia with an average of 229 thousand barrels per day, and from Nigeria at a rate of 175 thousand barrels per day."
According to the table, "the amount of US imports of crude oil from Brazil was at a rate of 113,000 barrels per day, from Ecuador at a rate of 103,000 barrels per day, and then Libya at a rate of 83,000 barrels per day."
