SANAA-SABA: Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahawi, the Supreme Committee for Religious and National Celebrations and Occasions approved the draft plan presented by the Government of Change and Construction for the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the esteemed September 21 revolution.
The meeting approved the general guidelines for the event.
The directives emphasized the significant national achievements of the September 21 revolution, notably the autonomy in national decision-making, the attainment of freedom, the preservation of national sovereignty, the cessation of dominance and foreign guardianship over the Yemeni people, and the establishment of a robust national army. This army is not only capable of defending the homeland and its strategic interests but also effective in championing the nation's causes, with the Palestinian people's plight being of paramount importance.
The draft plan included the headquarters public tasks and official and popular rhetorical events that will be held throughout the central and local public service units in the capital's secretariat, governorates, directorates, popular and scouting performances, in addition to the usual tasks such as mobilization, mobilization and raising flags on government buildings and in public squares, organizing workshops and seminars on the various national, humanitarian and religious dimensions of the blessed revolution and its principles based on freedom and independence, as well as its qualitative achievements, including its effective support for the battle of the Al-Aqsa flood. Victory for our brothers in Gaza.
The plan also included the sub-tasks entrusted to several ministries and reinforced the course of public tasks to celebrate the young revolution and the great sacrifices it made during its first decade in the face of the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition of aggression and blockade, which continues until the moment, as it faces with all rivalry the American-British aggression, which failed to affect its influential path in supporting the people of Gaza and confronting the Israeli enemy directly.
At the meeting, the Supreme Committee stressed on all ministries and government agencies to implement the plan, each in its own right, as well as the local authority in the capital municipality and the governorates, and to work to highlight the manifestations of joy on the occasion in line with its popular status and qualitative achievements in the military and security tracks, freedom, independence and development, especially in the agricultural field on the road to self-sufficiency in strategic crops.
The Supreme Committee approved the continuation of our people's celebrations on this occasion until September 28.
