BAGHDAD - (Saba): Iraqi security forces have launched a security operation in the vicinity of the Ghurra Hills east of Salah al-Din, with the participation of a joint security force and support from warplanes.
The operation extends to a depth of 11 kilometers and is part of an intensive sweep covering nearly ten areas between Tuz Khurmatu and Kifri.
The goal is to prevent ISIS terrorist cells from establishing footholds in the area. The operation is part of an ongoing security effort along the administrative border between Sulaymaniyah and Salah al-Din.
