Sayyed Nasrallah says bombing of "Pagers" represents major Zionist aggression that will face severe consequences

BEIRTUT - SABA: Secretary-General of Lebanese Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Thursday declared that the recent bombing of Pager devices represents a significant and unprecedented act of Zionist aggression, one that will invoke a harsh reckoning and appropriate retaliation, both from expected and unexpected quarters.

In a televised address, Sayyed Nasrallah stated, "The aggression we witnessed on Tuesday and Wednesday is undeniable; it will result in serious consequences." He refrained from detailing the timing or nature of the response, hinting that the specifics would remain within a limited circle for now.

He explained that thousands of Pager devices were targeted and detonated simultaneously by the Zionist enemy. "This operation crossed all boundaries of morality and legality," he remarked, noting that the attacks impacted hospitals, pharmacies, markets, and civilian areas, leading to numerous casualties among women and children.

"This significant strike has not and will not weaken our resolve; rather, it will strengthen our determination and ability to face any risks," he asserted. Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted that the enemy's actions demonstrated a disregard for civilian lives, as they aimed to detonate devices linked to a large number of people, effectively putting thousands at risk.

He described the events as genocidal, adding, "What happened is a massacre that adds to the history of atrocities committed by the enemy since its inception in our region. It is tantamount to a declaration of war."

The Secretary-General emphasized the unprecedented nature of this attack on the resistance in Lebanon and confirmed that investigative committees were formed to explore the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Despite the tragedy, he expressed gratitude that many were spared and emphasized the resilience of the Lebanese people and resistance. "We can overcome this ordeal and emerge stronger," he stated, highlighting that the struggle is ongoing, with a focus on resilience and attrition.

Sayyed Nasrallah also addressed the enemy's attempts to create division between Lebanese and Gaza fronts, reaffirming the commitment of Lebanon to support Gaza in the face of oppression.

He responded firmly to threats aimed at deterring support for Gaza, declaring that the Lebanese front will not relent until the aggression ceases.

He assured that the morale among the wounded remains high and that attempts to undermine Hezbollah’s leadership will not succeed. He warned that military actions would only lead to increased displacement among the people.

Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that "Netanyahu, Galant, and all Zionist officials will not be able to return settlers to the occupied north."

He asserted, "The only way to achieve that is to halt the aggression on Gaza, nothing else will work—neither military escalation nor any other tactic will help; rather, such actions will only increase the displacement of these people."

He criticized the commander of the northern region in the enemy army for proposing a security belt, suggesting that their current inaction could lead to a historic opportunity for resistance. "We hope they will enter our lands; when they do, it will present a significant chance with major implications for this battle," he stated.

Nasrallah explained that the concept of a security belt will not ensure safety for the settlers. He pointed out that while the enemy measures security based on conditions from 1978 and 1982, the current situation is vastly different.

"The resistance no longer operates only within the security belt; our actions will expand into the occupied territories, turning that belt into a trap for your soldiers," he warned, adding that many resistance fighters, newly motivated after recent events, would be waiting there.

He also reiterated that "Galant and Netanyahu are driving the enemy entity toward its own doom."

Expressing condolences to the families of martyrs and wishing a swift recovery for the wounded, Nasrallah extended gratitude to the Ministry of Health, healthcare workers, civil defense, and ambulance teams for their dedicated efforts.

He acknowledged the overwhelming support from the Lebanese people, thanking those who donated blood, offered transportation for the wounded, and provided medical care. "We have witnessed a remarkable humanitarian response, and I express my appreciation to the countries that rushed to offer support, particularly Iraq, Iran, and Syria, which opened their hospitals to assist us."

In conclusion, he remarked, "The past few days have highlighted a great humanitarian spirit we have not seen in a long time. We thank all who condemned this Zionist crime, especially the nations of the resistance axis. Above all, we are grateful to God for His protection and for sparing us further suffering."
