OCCUPIED AL-QUDS - SABA: In occupied al-Quds approximately 40,000 Palestinian worshipers gathered for Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite stringent military restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation.
The Islamic Endowments Department reported that access to the mosque was heavily monitored, with soldiers checking identities and arresting some worshipers.
Enemy forces continue to impose strict limitations on worshipers, particularly on Fridays, effectively preventing many Palestinians, especially those from the West Bank, from attending prayers. Special permits are required to cross military checkpoints into Jerusalem.
Since the escalation of aggression in Gaza and the West Bank last October, Israeli measures at the gates of al-Aqsa Mosque and entrances to the Old City have intensified.
