JERICHO - SABA: Zionist forces have intensified their demolition of homes and facilities in the West Bank, continuing a policy of displacement and land seizure to facilitate settlement expansion. Since October 7, they have demolished 150 homes and facilities in Jericho Governorate.
According to the Palestinian Media Center, on Monday, the forces demolished a house in the village of Al-Jiftlik, located north of Jericho. This two-story house, belonging to Nael Mustafa Bani Odeh, had been built over 15 years ago.
Additionally, in Salfit, settlers were reported to have bulldozed land in the town of Qarawet Bani Hassan. They conducted land-leveling operations in the Bir Abu Ammar area, which is known for its archaeological, touristic, and recreational significance, hosting horse competitions and various social activities.
The ongoing actions by Zionist forces and settlers are aimed at displacing Palestinians and expanding settlements, with reports indicating a significant rise in violations against Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. In August alone, the Palestine Information Center "Ma'ti" documented 4,263 violations.
