SANA'A - SABA: Al-Tahrir Square in the capital Sana'a will host the youth scout carnival and show on Wednesday evening in celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the immortal September 26 Revolution, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports represented by the Scouts and Guides Association.

500 scouts and scout leaders from the Scout Commissions of the Capital Sana'a and Sana'a province and the Loyalty Scout Group will participate in the carnival, which includes a ceremony to light the revolution torch.

The final rehearsals for the scout show, consisting of six scout teams representing the goals of the blessed September 26 Revolution, were held at the Yemeni-Chinese Institute of Applied Sciences.

Commissioner-General of Scouts Abdullah Obaid and a number of leaders of the Commission inspected the progress of the final rehearsals.

Obaid stressed that in the midst of the celebrations of the Yemeni Revolution holidays on September 21 and September 26, the youth remain the nation's treasure and the rock on which all conspiracies against it by the forces of global arrogance led by America, the Zionist entity and their allies are shattered.

He urged the youth of the Scout movement to appear at the honorable level that they always appear at on the Yemeni Revolution holidays, praising their interaction and discipline in the various tasks assigned to them, most notably reviving the celebrations of the revolutions of September 21 and September 26.

In this regard, Secretary-General of the Scout Commission Mutahar al-Sewari explained that the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution will witness the participation of 500 scouts and scout leaders from various scouting stages.

He pointed out that preparations have been completed for the lighting ceremony of the September 26 Revolution flame, which will be hosted by Tahrir Square during the Youth Scout Carnival.

Al-Sewari stated that the young scouts will form the six goals of the September 26 Revolution in the scout parade, as well as a national artistic painting expressing the occasion and the achievements and gains of the revolution, indicating that during the carnival, the document of loyalty and gratitude from the youth of the scout movement will be delivered to Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council.

For his part, Public Relations Commissioner of the Scouts Commission Ali Shamlan explained that the young scouts always stand out by reviving the Mother Torch lighting ceremony every year in al-Tahrir Square in the capital, Sana'a, as they are the youth of the nation who are counted on a lot in the process of construction and destroying the conspiracies that are being hatched against Yemen by any forces, most notably the forces of global arrogance.

He pointed out that the celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution comes in light of the great achievements and gains, most notably the freedom and independence that the nation has achieved since the September 21 revolution, which restored Yemen's prestige and position among the peoples of the world.

Shamlan appreciated the interest of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Scouts and Guides Association Dr. Mohammed al-Muwalad, and his deputy, Nabeel Abu Shusaa, and their keenness to make the carnival's activities a success.
