SANA'A - SABA : The Parliament Speaker, Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, stressed the importance of continuing to organize qualitative specialized courses to develop the performance of the technical , administrative staff and the secretariat of the permanent committees in the Council with regard to the fields of parliamentary work in the legislative and oversight aspects.
At the conclusion of a course organized by the General Secretariat of the Council on "Legislation. The importance of the stage and the need to develop and modernize legislation in accordance with what the world is witnessing in terms of development , to meet the needs and stage of change and construction requirements .
He stressed the importance of reflecting the outputs of the courses and the knowledge received by the participants in their auxiliary work to the work of the permanent committees of the Council, the cadres' knowledge and understanding of the nature of legislative work in the Council.
At the conclusion of the course, in the presence of Council members Abdo Radman and Khaled Al Ansi, the course trainer Noman Al Masoudi discussed the most important topics covered in the course, namely the definition of legislation, the role of legislation in organizing the life of society, and an overview of the legislative pyramid, which comes at the top of the constitution, laws in force and regulations.
The course covered the legislation sources , the draft law components , how to prepare it, and the constitutional procedures followed, through submission, review, discussion, and approval.
