SANA'A - (Saba): The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning on Friday predicted separate rains of varying intensity on parts of several governorates in the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that separate rains of varying intensity, accompanied by thunder sometimes, are expected in parts of Hodeida, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan and Hadhramout highlands, and parts of the Tehama Plain.
Sporadic rain is possible in parts of Sa'ada, Hajjah, Mahweet, western Dhamar, Shabwa, Dhalea and Socotra governorates.
The center reported that the amount of rain that fell during the past 24 hours and was measured at the weather station in Taiz amounted to 9 mm, and sporadic rain fell outside the monitoring stations on parts of the governorates of Hajjah, Al-Mahweet, Hodeida, West Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, North Abyan and Socotra.
The center warned citizens against being in the valleys and torrents, thunderstorms, and low horizontal visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to rainfall or fog formation.
