BAGHDAD - SABA : The Secretary General of the Sayyed al-Shuhada Brigades in Iraq, Abu Alaa al-Wala'i, emphasized that if a full-scale war breaks out, US forces will be held hostage by the resistance factions, and their capabilities will reach US bases in the Gulf and beyond. He pointed out that this is what the resistance has announced in the past.
According to Al-Mayadeen, on Friday evening, Al-Wala'i specified that American and Zionist interests in the entire region will be legitimate targets for the resistance factions, "especially the UAE, which we consider the advanced position of the usurping entity and the first targeting line."
"We drove the Americans out of Iraq after ten years of fighting, and we will drive them out again from Iraq, Syria and West Asia," he vowed.
"What is being circulated that the resistance wants to draw fire to us is not true," he said.
On Friday, the resistance carried out three operations, during which it targeted two occupation targets in the occupied Syrian Golan with drones in two separate operations, and struck a vital target in occupied Palestine with "Al-Arqab" missile (an upgraded cruise missile).
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq emphasizes "the continuation of operations in crushing the enemies' strongholds at an escalating pace."
