Beirut - Saba: The Lebanese army described what was published by some media outlets regarding its withdrawal from its southern border posts by several kilometers as inaccurate. It confirmed that its military units deployed in the south of the country are implementing a repositioning of some forward observation points.
The army statement, carried by the Lebanese National News Agency, stated that "with the Israeli enemy continuing its increasingly barbaric attacks on various Lebanese regions, some media outlets have reported inaccurate information about the army's withdrawal from its southern border posts by several kilometers in light of the enemy's preparations to carry out a ground operation inside Lebanese territory."
