The Lebanese Hezbollah on Monday said its decision to open the support front on the 8th of October to support the Palestinian people and their honorable resistance was a decision on the side of right, justice and total humanity.
Hezbollah said in a statement on the anniversary of the first Al-Aqsa flood battle: ‘The decision to support is at the same time a decision to defend Lebanon and its people, in which our resistance and our people have paid heavy and costly prices in its leadership structure, military and material structure, forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians, and heavy destruction of private property and buildings.’
‘The enemy continues its criminality and aggression without limits, but we are confident, God willing, in the ability of our resistance to repel the aggression, and our great and resistant people to be patient, steadfast and endure until the end of this darkness, and we see the easy after the difficult and the joy after the hardship, as the time of defeats has passed and Allah's victory has come.
Today marks one year since the heroic al-Aqsa flood operation, in which the will of the Palestinian resistance manifested itself in the face of the aggression, injustice and occupation that has befallen this oppressed people since 1948, and the subsequent wars, tragedies and destruction.
Hezbollah stated that this operation will have historic effects and strategic consequences on the entire situation in the region until justice is achieved with the end of the occupation and the Palestinian people achieve their legitimate right to their free and complete land from the sea to the river.
It emphasized the full right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation by all means to regain their legitimate rights and end the occupation.
It pointed out that despite the brutality of the occupation and its aggression, which led to the martyrdom of tens of thousands of Palestinians and the destruction of the Gaza Strip with unprecedented brutality, this unjust and aggressive entity proved that it is a fragile entity that is unable to survive and continue without US support.
It also emphasized that this temporary Zionist entity has no place in our region and in our social, cultural and humanitarian fabric; it was and will remain a cancerous, aggressive and deadly gland that must be removed, no matter how long it takes.
Hezbollah stressed that the United States of America and its allies and tools in the world and the region are partners of this occupation in its aggression and crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and against the peoples of the region and bear full responsibility for the killing, criminality, injustice and tragic human tragedies.
It praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance after a year of patience, endurance and heroism, despite the tragedy and pain, and they deserve victory.
It also praised the strength and courage of the mujahideen in the support fronts in dear Yemen and great Iraq, as well as the historic decision taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran to attack the depth of the occupation entity with missiles in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese people, which has great implications and results on the nature of this open confrontation with the Zionist enemy.
