Sa'ada - Saba:
A project designed to empower 38 female workers and productive families through advanced industrial sewing techniques has successfully concluded today in Sa'ada province.
This initiative took place across various production factories and women's associations in al-Saifi, al-Talh and Dhahian areas.
Funded by the General Authority for Small and Micro Enterprise Development and implemented by Khairat al-Ata'a Development Foundation, the project focused on enhancing the skills of participants and graduating female trainers to disseminate their knowledge throughout the province.
At the conclusion of the project, Afif Abu Usba', Business Development Advisor for the Foundation, emphasized the significance of the initiative in promoting women's economic empowerment.
She highlighted its role in fostering independence for women in both urban and rural settings, enabling them to produce high-quality goods that improve their families' living standards and contribute to the local economy.
Abu Usba' noted that the project would enhance the quality of national products, generate job opportunities, and supply factories with skilled workers. Furthermore, it aims to establish sustainable commercial projects that bolster the national economy.
This initiative aligns with the General Authority for Small and Micro Enterprise Development's strategic objectives to increase the expertise of female workers and productive families in industrial sewing.
It also aims to facilitate knowledge transfer to other factories and families across the province, creating job opportunities in production facilities and boosting local market sales for targeted families, thereby achieving self-sufficiency in the region.
