Sana'a - Saba :
Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi inaugurated on Saturday the alternative energy project for the heart center at Kuwait University Hospital, as part of the directives of the Revolution Leader , Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council to switch to renewable and alternative energy.

Al-Rahwi, along with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration, Local and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani, listened to an explanation from the Executive Director of the Central Interventions Unit for Emergency Development, Engineer Shihab Al-Shami, about the 300-kilowatt renewable energy project at the hospital, equipped with a storage system "lithium batteries" with a capacity of 430 kilowatts at a cost of 198 million and 610 thousand riyals.

He pointed out that the interventions unit is implementing 52 alternative energy projects, including 40 completed projects and 12 under implementation in various provinces, at a total cost of four billion riyals, noting that these projects come within the program to enhance energy sustainability and reduce its cost "Energy Solutions", implemented by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development.

During the inauguration, the Prime Minister praised the efforts exerted by the Heart Center, which is considered one of the most important health centers in the country, noting the role of the Central Emergency Development Intervention Unit in supporting the center as well as the adoption of the gradual transformation program to replace solar energy systems in all areas.

Al-Rahwi delivered an orientation speech, at the beginning of which he praised the hospital's leadership, the center's management and medical staff and their humanitarian efforts. He pointed out that the accreditation of this specialized center for the Egyptian fellowship in Sana'a, which includes 28 of the best medical cadres in the field of heart as a regional center in the Middle East, is a pride for all Yemenis.

He expressed confidence in the center's continuous development to reach the level of surgery, including pediatric cardiac surgery. He pointed out the importance of the center, which provides the study of the Egyptian fellowship in Yemen instead of traveling to Egypt, and its impact on reducing the burden on trainees and giving everyone, especially female doctors, the opportunity to train easily and conveniently.

He urged the trainees in the program, who represent most of the country's provinces, including the occupied provinces, to make the most of the program.
