Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer discussed on Saturday with Resident Representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Sana'a Enshirah Ahmed aspects of cooperation between the ministry and the Fund.
Minister Amer listened to a summary of the projects implemented by the United Nations Population Fund in Yemen for the year 2024 in the field of supporting population, development and economic empowerment of women.
Amer praised the role of the United Nations Population Fund in the development field over the past decades, stressing that international organizations enjoy the support of the Government of Change and Construction, which contributes to ensuring the continued implementation of humanitarian and relief projects.
In turn, Ahmed explained that the Fund has been implementing many development projects in Yemen since 1970.
She stressed the Fund's continued provision of development support and humanitarian aid in the Republic of Yemen, especially to the most affected groups.
