Sa'ada - Saba:
The Board of Directors of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Sa'ada Governorate on Sunday discussed the activities carried out by the Fund during the first quarter of the current year 1446H in its meeting chaired by Governor Mohammed Awad.

The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary General of the Local Council, Mohammed Al-Emad, and governorate deputies Saleh Aqab and Mohammed Al-Baadani, discussed preparations for the implementation of the exceptional afforestation project and paving of public street pavements.

The meeting listened to the report of the Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, Najeeb Al-Saadi, who reviewed the activities carried out during the first quarter, the difficulties and obstacles facing the fund and the process of rehabilitation and development of its cadres, pointing out the most important needs, especially fuel.

During the meeting, the governor stressed the need to plant central islands in the streets, tours and public places to give an aesthetic appearance to the provincial capital, pointing out the importance of raising awareness of cleanliness as a social behaviour.

He urged to find a workshop to maintain the fund's machinery and equipment, expressing the readiness of the governorate's leadership to provide the needs of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund.

For his part, Al-Emad pointed out the importance of the fund's role in cleaning the city and the continuation of implementing more activities to advance the work of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund.
