Beirut - Saba:
Neither Lebanon nor the region can be isolated from Palestine, Hezbollah deputy secretary-general said on Tuesday.
The current battle has its dimensions and the Zionist enemy has its plots against the region, but there are new equations, Sheikh Naeem Qasem added in a televised speech, noting that Aqsa Flood came 75 years after occupation and carnages as a legitimate right.
With supporting the Palestinians, the Lebanese resistance supports the right, he argued. The Palestinians "have the right, so range of the Israeli expansionist project gets narrower."
"We haven't respond to their demand to isolate Lebanon from Gaza, since the current project is expansionist... We're before a Palestinian, but not an Iranian project."
"When we confront [the enemies], tolerate sacrifices and pain them, we guard the next generations... It has its cost, but confrontation leads to freedom," he added.
Hezbollah started a new equation of paining the enemy, Sheikh Qasem said, vowing to curb the enemy's crimes and to target its sites and barracks everywhere.
