Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah protect him) on the Martyrdom of the Great Jihadist Leader Yahya Sinwar (May Allah have mercy on him)
Friday, the 15th of Rabi' Al Thani 1446 A.H.
I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
Allah (the Almighty) says in the Holy Quran, {'Never think of those killed in the cause of Allah as dead. In fact, they are alive with their Lord, well provided for, rejoicing in Allah’s bounties and being delighted for those yet to join them: That there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. They are joyful for receiving Allah’s grace and bounty, and that Allah does not deny the reward of the believers'}[Ali 'Imran 3:169-171]. This is the word of truth from Allah, the Almighty.
With deep sorrow and grief, we have received the news of the martyrdom of the great mujahid brother, the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, the martyr leader Yahya Sinwar (May Allah have mercy on him). He attained martyrdom for the sake of Allah in the field of confrontation, heroism, and honour, where he stood firm and patient as a free and proud mujahid who presented an exemplary and inspiring model of bravery, devotion for the sake of Allah, and steadfastness in the position of truth. Congratulations to him on his honourable martyrdom and the good ending of his march of jihad and sacrifice, which was marked by hard work and distinguished, brilliant performance, which will remain a lesson for future generations and a great source of motivation for his fellow mujahidin, as well as a significant means of drawing closer to Allah.
In this regard, we extend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to his honourable family, to our fellow mujahidin in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), to the Al-Qassam Brigades, to all the mujahidin in Palestine, to the Palestinian people, and to our Islamic Ummah. Verily, to Allah we belong, and to Him is our return. May Allah magnify the reward of everyone and of all mujahidin for this loss, which has saddened the hearts of all believers. We count him as a martyr for the cause of Allah who remained patient, kept striving in the cause of Allah, and carried the flag of truth against the enemies of Allah, the criminal, oppressive Zionists, who spread corruption on the earth and keep committing the most horrific acts of genocide and violating all sanctities.
The sacrifices of the oppressed Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin will never be in vain, and Allah (Glory be to Him) is the supporter of His oppressed and wronged servants who strive in His cause, fulfil their sacred responsibilities and duties in confronting the arrogant, criminal tyrants, and turn to Him in trust. No matter the suffering, the divine promise of the demise of the criminal entity is certain and will undoubtedly come to pass; there is no doubt about it.
The martyr leader Abu Ibrahim, Yahya Sinwar (May Allah have mercy on him), and the fellow mujahidin in the Gaza Strip have engaged in the fiercest confrontation against the savage Israeli aggression in extremely challenging conditions, enduring blockade, immense suffering, mass destruction, and the painful passivity of the Arab and Islamic world. Despite all of this, they have been and continue to be patient and steadfast. The Israeli enemy is delusional if it thinks that the martyrdom of the great mujahid leader Yahya Sinwar (May Allah have mercy on him) will cause the grand jihad front in the Gaza Strip, the land of dignity, to collapse or shatter the morale of the mujahidin. These are false hopes. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) is a sacrificing and cohesive movement. Since its establishment, it has endured the martyrdom of its leaders, beginning with its founder and some of its most prominent leaders. However, it has not lowered the flag of jihad, abandoned the battlefield, or raised the flag of surrender. Instead, it continued its upward path in jihad, construction, and capacity development. Indeed, it continued its effort in all fields and took the lead in the Palestinian arena in defending its people, its sanctities, foremost among them the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the blessed land of Palestine.
The Israeli enemy's portrayal of its crimes in assassinating jihadist leaders as an achievement through which it hopes to achieve its goals, is a false perception and a disregard for the facts present on the ground. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has never retreated because of this. Similarly, the Islamic Jihad Movement has continued its journey with full vigour and steadfastness following the martyrdom of the great leader, Fathi Shaqaqi (May Allah have mercy on him). And here we see Hezbollah in Lebanon announcing a new stage of escalation against the Israeli enemy, fighting with steadfastness and courage, and humiliating the enemy's soldiers and officers.
The great legacy left by the jihadist leaders calls for remaining true to their sacrifices and sacred goals and continuing the journey. This is the responsibility of the entire Ummah and a commitment of the sincere mujahidin. The martyrdom and sacrifices of the martyrs and the dedication and patience of the mujahidin are a means of nearness to Allah (the Almighty), through which He grants victory to His oppressed servants and bestows failure upon His criminal enemies.
On the support front for the land of dignity Gaza, the Palestinian people, and their dear mujahidin, we, in the Yemen of faith, wisdom, and jihad, affirm our commitment in the Battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad to continue with full force to escalate our military jihadist operations at sea and our missile and drone attacks deep into occupied Palestine against the Zionist enemy, along with other supporting activities, within the framework of the fifth stage of escalation. Regardless of the enemies' schemes and the American aggression and bombardment on our country, we will never stop supporting the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin. We say, as we have said from the beginning, to our fellow mujahidin in Palestine: You are not alone, we are with you until victory, and Allah is with you! {'And Allah suffices as a protector. And Allah suffices as a supporter'}[An-Nisa 4:45]. Do not falter or grieve, for you are the people of steadfastness, the people of jihad, the patient and the resolute. And you have a just cause and a rightful position in confronting the most wicked of all creatures: the Zionist Jews, who are criminal aggressors. Allah (the Almighty) says in the Holy Quran: {'And how many a prophet has had numerous godly men combating alongside him, and they did not waver regardless of that which afflicted them in the way of Allah, nor did they weaken, nor did they give in. And Allah loves the patient ones'}[Ali 'Imran 3:146].
The words and statements of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Al-Qassam Brigades, from their position of action in the battlefield, have confirmed their steadfastness in their position and their commitment to their just cause. This is also mirrored in the statements of the resilient Palestinian factions standing side by side with the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
And the best outcome is for those who are mindful of Allah, and there is no power and no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Great. {'And Allah suffices as a protector. And Allah suffices as a supporter'}[An-Nisa 4:45].
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
