A meeting held on Sunday in Sana'a, chaired by Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment Eng. Moeen al-Mahaqeri, focused on the conditions of the Yemeni-Kuwaiti Real Estate Development Company and its investment plans.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmed al-Murtada and Executive Director Mohammed Bishr presented an overview of the company's current situation, the challenges it faces, and the investment programs planned for implementation.
Minister al-Mahaqeri emphasized the need to improve the company's performance and capitalize on promising investment opportunities in the real estate sector.
He noted the company's long history and stressed the importance of translating its objectives into tangible development projects.
He highlighted the necessity for the company to operate under a clear vision for real estate investment, advocating for the re-presentation of stalled investment ideas and opportunities in line with a modern, innovative investment policy. This approach should be flexible and responsive to market conditions.
Minister al-Mahaqeri also reiterated the ministry's commitment to supporting the company in overcoming its challenges and initiating new real estate projects.
He encouraged the establishment of effective investment relationships and partnerships with both public and private sector holding companies.
Al-Mahaqeri pointed out that the real estate industry remains a key priority for the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment, urging the company's leadership and staff to intensify their efforts, expand investment plans, and prepare for a new phase of growth.
