Commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Shahram Irani announced on Friday that the destroyers Sahand and Zagros will be launched into the waters soon.
In a statement, Admiral Irani said that the destroyer Sahand is being rapidly prepared to be sent to the mission of securing the waters of the northern Indian Ocean after participating in a major maneuver.
The Iranian admiral added "The destroyer Zagros is the newest destroyer of the Army Navy and a combat intelligence destroyer equipped with a permanent hangar to carry helicopters, and we are waiting for the order to launch it."
