The leadership and staff of the Supreme Committee for Elections and Referendum visited today the mausoleum of martyred President Saleh Ali Al-Sammad and his companions in Al-Sabeen Square in Sana'a.
During the visit, the head of the Commission, Judge Mohammed Al-Salami, along with the Secretary General of the Commission, Mohammed Al-Jalal, and members of the Supreme Election Commission, laid a wreath at the mausoleum of Martyr Al-Sammad , his companions, and read Al-Fatiha for their souls and all the martyrs of the nation.
They visited the Martyr Al-Sammad exhibition, and were briefed on the photos, models and artifacts documenting a part of his life , his militant and humanitarian positions.
The head of the committee, Judge Al-Salmi, considered the visit to the mausoleum of President Al-Sammad as a station to stand in front of a figure that revives the meanings of pride, dignity , giving and an opportunity to recall his positions in the defense of the homeland.
The Secretary-General of the Committee praised the heroic positions of Martyr Al-Sammad and the meaning of sacrifice and redemption, which resulted in victory and glory for the Yemenis, pointing out that Martyr Al-Sammad is a model , role model for all officials ,state leaders and all free people.
