The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Abdulmumin Shujaa Al-Din, met on Wednesday the Chairman of the General Authority for Endowments, Allama Abdulmajid Al-Houthi.
During the meeting, which included the head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Marwan Al-Mahakri, and the Secretary General of the Judicial Council, Judge Hashim Aqabat, discussed cooperation and coordination between the judiciary and the Commission in a way that enhances the role of the Commission and enables it to serve and protect endowment funds.
The President of the Supreme Judicial Council praised the efforts of the General Authority for Endowments and the achievement of tasks and programs that serve and preserve the endowment.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the Awqaf Authority and the judiciary in order to protect Awqaf and quickly resolve the cases before the courts.
Al-Houthi reviewed the efforts of the Authority in promoting, protecting and developing endowment funds. He expressed thanks to the leadership of the judiciary for its cooperation and keenness to ensure that the Commission accomplishes the tasks entrusted to it to the fullest.
