Sana'a - Saba:

The Cabinet on Thursday chaired by prime minister Ahmed al-Rahawi, discussed key points in its agenda.

Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Dr. Khaled al-Hawali provided an update on the ongoing institutional merger process.

This process is part of a broader effort to consolidate ministries and agencies as outlined in presidential decrees, with technical procedures advancing in preparation for the formation of merger teams.

The Council discussed a memorandum related to the indicative price list for road projects and maintenance. A committee was formed to review the draft list and submit recommendations for further discussion and decision-making.

Director of the Prime Minister’s Office Mohammed al-Kebsi presented a draft plan for the year 1446 AH. The Council is working on finalizing this plan for its next meeting.

Minister of Defense Maj. Gen. Mohammed al-Atifi briefed the Council on the mobilization efforts of the armed forces in support of Palestine and Lebanon amidst ongoing conflicts with Israeli forces.

The Council commended the actions of the Yemeni missile forces, air force, and navy in their continued military support for these nations.

The Council strongly condemned Israeli actions and aggression on Gaza, southern Lebanon, and Beirut, and criticized the United States for blocking a UN resolution aimed at halting the aggression.

Yemen’s government reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in their struggle against foreign aggression.

The Council praised the efforts of the Ministries of Economy, Industry, and Investment, and Information for their progress and tangible developments since the government's formation.

Additionally, the Council noted the remarkable popular solidarity in Yemen, particularly through mass marches in support of Palestine and Lebanon.

The Council also condemned the "Riyadh Season" events, particularly certain parties held near holy sites that disrespected religious symbols and provoked widespread resentment across the Muslim world.

In summary, the Council's meeting focused on key national and international issues, including the ongoing merger of governmental entities, continued support for Palestine and Lebanon, and criticism of international actions perceived as harmful to the broader Arab and Islamic causes.

The meeting underscored Yemen's firm position on regional solidarity and its commitment to addressing both domestic and international challenges.
