The training course for trainers of activities and summer courses for the year 1446 AH concluded at the Youth Center for Training and Development in Sana'a.
The course, which was organized over four days by the General Administration of Educational Coordination and Summer Activities at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in coordination with the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, aimed to introduce 36 trainers of summer activities in the governorates to the work plan for following up on the outcomes of the courses, preparing for summer activities and courses for the current year, and training on the electronic application of the Supreme Committee.
In conclusion, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Nabeeh Abu Shusaa stressed the importance of organizing such qualitative training courses for workers in summer courses early, to qualify them and provide them with the necessary skills, knowledge and information.
He pointed out the care and attention given to summer activities and courses by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Supreme Political Council, the government and community interaction with them.
He explained the importance of summer courses in strengthening faith identity and preparing an aware generation armed with values, protecting the young and youth from the dangers of soft war and negative imported cultures, and providing them with useful knowledge and skills.
Abu Shusaa appreciated the efforts of the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, the Technical Committee, and the Youth Center for Training and Development in the field of rehabilitation, capacity building and skills development.
He urged the participants in the course to activate their role in their governorates and apply everything they received on the ground.
While the Undersecretary of the Ministry for the Youth Sector - Head of the Technical Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, Abdullah Al-Razihi, stressed the keenness on the training and rehabilitation process and raising the efficiency of those in charge of summer activities and courses and developing the capabilities and skills of all workers at an early stage.
He pointed out the endeavor to improve performance and benefit from the experiences and data of previous summer courses, in a way that would contribute to the success of the 1446 program.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Director of the Youth Center for Training and Development at the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Ali Al-Mu'anqi, and the Director of Summer Activities and Courses, Ahmed Al-Salawi, and the Director of Planning at the Ministry of Education, Fares Al-Hamdani.
