The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stated that his country welcomes any step to achieve justice and put an end to the Zionist entity's impunity for committing genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Palestine.
Baghaei wrote on the X platform Saturday regarding the issuance of an arrest warrant for the main criminals in the horrific genocide committed by the Zionist enemy entity in Gaza, saying “We welcome every step towards achieving justice and ending the Zionist entity’s impunity for committing genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity in occupied Palestine and other situations.
He added the long-term delay in dealing with the Zionist apartheid entity’s impunity - most of which was due to the apparent and hidden obstruction of the path of justice by the United States - has caused the continuation and escalation of heinous crimes in occupied Palestine.
Baghaei stressed that the immediate and full implementation of this arrest warrant can demonstrate the efficiency of the international criminal justice system, stressing the need to be careful so that this late decision is not manipulated by misusing official processes and procedures.
