The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its forces inflicted heavy losses on Kiev regime forces in personnel and equipment, including the infrastructure of a military air base, in addition to destroying a MiG 29 fighter jet and two German-made Leopard tanks.
The ministry said in its daily report on the progress of the special operation “About 1,535 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated in operations by the Russian armed forces on various combat fronts during the past 24 hours,” noting that Russian warplanes, attack drones, missile forces and artillery targeted the infrastructure of military airports, in addition to gatherings of manpower and military equipment of the Kiev regime forces in 149 areas.
Air defense systems shot down three French-made Hummer guided bombs, eight American-made HIMARS missiles, and 59 Ukrainian drones.
In the same context, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement on Saturday that the losses of the Kiev regime forces on Kursk axis amounted to more than 360 soldiers during the past 24 hours.
The statement issued by the ministry stated that the Russian forces destroyed during the past 24 hours two armored combat vehicles, two infantry combat vehicles, one of the German-made "Marder" model and the other of the Swedish-made "SV 90" model, and 25 cars, in addition to three artillery pieces and two electronic warfare stations.
The ministry explained that the total losses of the Kiev regime forces since the start of combat operations on Kursk axis amounted to 35,050 soldiers, 215 tanks, 149 infantry combat vehicles, 120 armored personnel carriers, 1,192 armored combat vehicles, 300 field guns, 40 rocket launchers, and 70 electronic warfare stations.
