The number of Palestinian journalist martyrs has risen to 189 since the start of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, after the announcement of the martyrdom of journalist colleague Wael Ibrahim Abu Qaffa, a lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Media at the Islamic University and a journalist at the Holy Quran Educational Radio - Voice of the Islamic University.
On Saturday, the government media office in Gaza condemned in the strongest terms the targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation, holding the occupation fully responsible for committing this heinous crime.
He called on the international community and international organizations related to journalistic work in the world to deter the occupation and prosecute it in international courts for its continuous crimes and pressure it to stop the crime of genocide and stop the murder and assassination of Palestinian journalists.
