Dr. Hamoud Abad, Capital Mayor , and Khaled Al-Madani, the First Undersecretary of the Secretariat, inaugurated on Tuesday the second phase of the first methodological, cultural and scientific competitions for all children of martyrs at the schools level in the Capital Secretariat, coinciding with the annual martyr anniversary 1446 AH.
The competitions, which will last for four days, will compete in the first stage at the level of the educational districts of the directorates from the children of martyrs, male and female students of public and private schools "the first grades of the basic stage - sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and secondary stage, competing in all academic and cultural subjects.
Abad pointed to the attention of the Revolution Leader and the political leadership to the martyrs' families and giving them a special place in all fields, including the educational field, and this competition is one of the faces of this attention. He wished all male and female students success.
In turn, Al-Madani pointed out, in the presence of the head of the educational sector in the secretariat, Abdul Qader Al-Mahdi, and the director of the branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in the secretariat, Mohammed Al-Afif, that what Yemen is experiencing today of pride and dignity is the result of the sacrifices and immortal heroism made by the great martyrs.
He pointed to the approach in raising generations on the faith-based identity and culture of the Qur'an, and that this constellation represents an example of diligence, commitment and excellence.
For her part, Amira Al-Asiri, Director of the Girls' Education Department in Amana Education Sector, explained that these competitions were organized with many efforts. She praised the role of the Guidance Department in preparing and correcting the questions, as the questions are diverse and comprehensive methodologically and culturally.
