The President of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, withdrew today, Wednesday from the sessions of the Mediterranean Dialogue held in the Italian capital, Rome, and protested the participation of a colonizer representing Knesset "Yuli Adelstein," and the Libyan delegation withdrew with him, and many of the attendees expressed their solidarity.
Fattouh submitted a written protest to the participants and the Italian Parliament, explaining that it is not permissible to sit with a colonizer who steals land, violates international law and terrorizes the indigenous population, as this is completely contrary to the principles and spirit of the conference, whose title is peace and stability.
He said that Aldestein is a war criminal whose place is in the International Criminal Court to be held accountable for his crimes, not at a conference on peace, as peace cannot be built with the peace enemies .
Fattouh called on the organizers to respect international law, calling on participants to refuse to give a platform to war criminals in parliaments and international arenas.
