Occupied Quds - Saba:
Thousands of Palestinian citizens performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid tight military measures imposed by the Zionist enemy authorities on access to the mosque.
The Department of Islamic Endowments in Al-Quds estimated that about 50,000 worshippers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Local sources reported that the enemy forces obstructed the arrival of worshippers to Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform prayers through Al-Amud Gate and Al-Asbat Gate, checked their identities, stopped a number of young men and prevented them from entering the mosque.
The Zionist enemy authorities prevent thousands of citizens from the West Bank governorates from reaching Al-Quds to perform prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, as they require special permits to cross their military checkpoints that surround the holy city.
Since the start of the comprehensive Zionist aggression against Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, enemy forces have tightened their measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the entrances to the Old City.
