Sana'a - Saba:

The Supreme Judicial Council reviewed in its weekly meeting on Monday, headed by the Council Chairman, Judge Dr. Abdulmumin Shuja al-Din, the report submitted by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights on the most important achievements in the ministry during the past three months.

The report included the work carried out by the ministry during the mentioned period in order to advance and develop the justice sector in a way that provides the necessary conditions and capabilities to enable the judiciary and judges to simplify litigation procedures and bring justice closer to litigants, in implementation of the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership, in light of the judicial reform program.

The report pointed out the most important steps that have been taken in order to support judicial reforms and enhance and improve performance.

It pointed out what the Ministry has done to improve judicial and administrative work and raise its level, including the procedures for listing cases, collecting and printing accumulated rulings by court secretaries at the Ministry's expense, and transferring cases in which prisoners are pending to the Public Prosecution, in addition to addressing organizational and supervisory irregularities in the procedures for their collection, as well as setting rules for organizing and controlling the work and tasks of court bailiffs, and updating their work in a way that contributes to the completion and implementation of rulings.

The report also included the procedures aimed at developing and modernizing the judicial administration, supporting commercial judiciary, encouraging investment, protecting the national economy, modernizing the digital electronic transformation of judicial work and services, and caring for prisoners' cases and prison conditions, and developing documentation and real estate registry procedures to solve real estate transaction problems and reduce disputes related to them.

The Council reviewed the report of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights regarding the unification and activation of the role of disciplinary councils and carrying out their work in accordance with the provisions of the Judicial Authority Law and the Council's issued directives.

It approved what was stated in this regard and worked on what was specified in Ministerial Resolution No. 215 of 2017.

In the meeting, the Council decided on the grievances of one of the judges in accordance with the law.

In addition, the Chairman and members of the Council inaugurated the receipt of financial disclosure forms for judges and members of the Public Prosecution, batches (22) and (23), in implementation of the Council's previous decisions, in accordance with the text of Article (82) of the Judicial Authority Law No. (1) of 1991 and its amendments.
