Interest in a video game called "Knights of al-Aqsa" has increased, after the updates made to it, to simulate the glorious crossing day on October 7, 2023, which was accompanied by the anger of the occupation and Western countries, and movements to ban it in many countries.
According to the (Palestine Online) website, on Monday, the events of the game revolve around Ahmed the Palestinian, a young student whose life changes completely after being tortured and unjustly imprisoned for five years and losing his family in a Zionist air raid.
After his release from prison, Ahmed joins a fictional resistance movement called Knights of al-Aqsa in pursuit of revenge against those who destroyed his life and robbed his homeland.
The story unfolds through a series of missions on land, sea and air, with the promise of an intense experience and rich narrative.
Unlike a number of popular games that show the Middle East through a Western lens, Knights of al-Aqsa challenges stereotypes, presenting Arab and Muslim characters as heroes with a deep humanitarian cause.
Despite the limitations, the game has found a wide audience among Palestinians and supporters of their cause around the world.
Many see it as an innovative way to introduce new generations to the Palestinian cause through a modern approach that combines entertainment and education.
