Storm Darragh has caused the postponement of the English Premier League soccer match between Everton and Liverpool, Everton announced in a post on the X social networking site.

The Merseyside summit, scheduled for Saturday at Everton's Goodison Park stadium, is the first Premier League match to be postponed due to Storm Darragh.

Also canceled yesterday were two second division matches scheduled for today: Plymouth Argyle vs. Oxford United and Cardiff City vs. Watford.
