Ibb - Saba:
The 19th and final phase of the emergency cash transfer project for beneficiaries of the Social Welfare Fund, provided by the World Bank through UNICEF and the Social Fund for Development, was inaugurated on Thursday in Ibb province .
At the inauguration, Yahya Al-Qasimi, the province deputy, listened to the directors of Al-Kuraimi banks Yaqoub Al-Aswani, Al-Amal Mohammed Haydara, and Yemen and Kuwait Safaa Okasha, who explained the disbursement mechanism and the facilities provided through the disbursement points spread in various directorates.
They pointed out that 50 percent has been added for each beneficiary at this stage, to be paid only once.
Al-Qasimi called on international and humanitarian organizations to expand the targeting of social groups in need of support.
For his part, the director of the Social Welfare Fund in the province, Dr. Qasimi Shahra, explained that the disbursement process for beneficiaries in the districts of Al-Dhahar, Yarim, Al-Sayyani, Jabla, Hazm Al-Adin, Al-Sada, Habish and Al-Mukhadir is done through the Bank of Yemen and Kuwait, while the disbursement process in the districts of Al-Adin branch, Mudhikha and Dhi Al-Safal is done through Al-Amal Bank, and the other districts through Al-Kuraimi Bank.
Dr. Shahra confirmed that the disbursement process will continue for 25 days at all approved points, so that beneficiaries can receive their cash transfers according to the approved mechanism, indicating that mobile committees will deliver the allocations of beneficiaries with special needs to their houses.
