The Government Media Office in Gaza has strongly condemned the killing and targeting of Palestinian journalists by Israeli forces, following the martyrdom of journalist Mohammed Hamed Balousha, a correspondent for al-Mashhad Channel.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Media Office denounced the systematic crimes committed against Palestinian media professionals, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
The statement called on the international community to condemn these attacks, holding the Israeli occupation, the U.S. administration, and countries such as the UK, Germany, and France responsible for complicity in these crimes.
The Media Office urged international organizations and media-related bodies worldwide to take action against these violations, pushing for accountability through international courts.
Additionally, the Media Office appealed for stronger pressure to stop the killings of Palestinian journalists and to bring those responsible to justice, while offering condolences and solidarity to the families of fallen journalists and the Palestinian media community.
