The Board of Directors of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Saada Governorate discussed in its meeting today, headed by the Governor of the Governorate, Muhammad Awad, the progress of work and the level of job discipline and the mechanism for improving and developing the Fund's capabilities and the necessity of electronic collection instead of traditional collection.
The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council of the Governorate, Muhammad al-Imad, and the two deputies, Saleh Aqab and Muhammad al-Badani, reviewed the report submitted by the Director-General of the Fund, Najib al-Saadi, which included what was accomplished during the year 2024 AD, in terms of cleaning work, improvement projects, movement and maintenance, and the level of implementation and coordination with the relevant authorities.
He touched on the importance of developing a new work mechanism to improve the level of cleanliness, developing a plan for cleanliness campaigns and a mechanism for their implementation, and dividing the neighborhoods and streets of the governorate center according to a program and schedule for distributing workers and mechanisms to ensure continuous and intensive cleanliness.
The meeting also discussed a work plan to implement awareness campaigns on cleanliness, maintaining a decent appearance in the governorate center, protecting the environment and the risks of pollution, stressing the importance of controlling violators from homeowners, shops, markets and professionals and taking deterrent measures to prevent the recurrence of non-compliance with the instructions of the Cleanliness Fund regarding collecting, disposing of and placing garbage in its designated places.
The meeting approved a plan and work mechanism for cleanliness, improving the level of the fund's performance and coordinating with the relevant authorities to integrate work.
During the meeting, the governor pointed out the importance of the role of the Cleanliness Fund in improving the appearance of the governorate's capital and implementing awareness campaigns among citizens, to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment, stressing the need to double efforts in implementing cleaning work and activating the field visits of the fund's officials.
He stressed the readiness of the governorate's leadership to meet the needs of the Cleanliness Fund for workers and capabilities that contribute to the success of its role in implementing cleaning work.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director of the Governorate Security, Colonel Sadiq Falhan.
