Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali al-Yafei held a meeting on Thursday with official responsible for the tourism sector in Ibb province Ghanem Awsaj to discuss various aspects of tourism work in the region and the challenges it faces.
The meeting, attended by Fahd Nizar, Undersecretary of the Ministry, and other Ministry leaders, focused on tourism investments and the support provided to investors by the relevant authorities to promote this promising sector.
Minister al-Yafei emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to developing tourism in Ibb, recognizing the province as one of Yemen's key tourist destinations.
He highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts from all concerned parties to enhance the tourism sector and ensure its growth.
The Minister also noted the Ministry's efforts to create an attractive investment environment for tourism projects across Yemen, with a particular focus on involving the private sector.
This initiative aims to strengthen tourism infrastructure, promote sustainable economic activities, and generate new job opportunities for the local youth.
