Yemen's Red Sea Ports Corporation warned of the danger of the Israeli aggression's escalation of the unjustified crimes it continues to commit against Al-Hodeida ports , Saleef and Ras Issa, and the renewed destruction of their infrastructure and operational equipment, as well as the targeting of their workers.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Corporation held the international community fully responsible for the great damage caused to its ports by the continuous terrorist crimes committed by the Israeli enemy and the transformation of these facilities, which provide services to millions of Yemenis, into military targets in full view of the countries of the world.
The statement considered the Zionist enemy entity's deliberate commission of more crimes against these vital ports, the latest of which was the targeting of the ports of Ras Issa and Hodeida, which resulted in severe damage and casualties, less than a week after the targeting of Hodeida ports, as war crimes against humanity aimed at disrupting commercial , maritime activity and doubling the suffering of Yemenis.
The statement also warned of the consequences of the continued US support and collusion and its identification with Zionist terrorism, which encourages this arrogant entity to persist in these crimes that affect civilian ports, destroy the capabilities , interests of the Yemenis, and insist on defying international humanitarian law and international conventions that criminalize violations and targeting of service facilities and ports.
It renewed its strong condemnation of the United Nations, international organizations that claim to protect human rights, and all concerned organizations, for abdicating responsibility and not taking any position to condemn such systematic Zionist crimes against the ports of the Yemenis to impede their work with the aim of starving Yemenis.
The statement warned of the consequences of targeting the infrastructure system, equipment and vital facilities of the Red Sea ports in Hodeida, and the humanitarian consequences, depriving the Yemeni people of access to food, medicine and fuel, as well as disregarding the lives of workers and employees in the ports.
The Red Sea Ports Corporation renewed its call on the United Nations and its affiliated organizations to break their silence and assume their responsibilities towards this Zionist arrogance, which continues to harm the interests of the Yemeni people , target the ports, and to play its role in accordance with the provisions of international humanitarian law and international conventions, which criminalize the targeting of ports , civilian objects , emphasize their protection and preservation.
