Beirut - Saba:
Ihab Hamadeh, a member of the Loyalty of Resistance bloc in the Lebanese parliament, stressed on Tuesday that "if the Zionist enemy takes any steps against Lebanon from the east, following its expansion in Syria, we will exercise our national duty."
Al-Mayadeen quoted Hamadeh as saying in a statement: "What the Zionist enemy could not take through war, it is trying to achieve in peace."
It emphasized that the resistance is what protects Lebanon and prevents the enemy from violating the land. "Whoever considers that the resistance in Lebanon has weakened is delusional," he said.
"Whoever thinks that Hezbollah is tired is suspicious, and we have the capabilities and minds that enable us to be in a position to confront the enemy," it said.
The member of the Loyalty of Resistance bloc in the Lebanese parliament said: "The effects of the changes in Syria on us are not as some present them."
Hamadeh concluded his speech by saying: "The next political stage will be a continuation of the stage of the war on Lebanon by Washington, and "we are steadfast in the confrontation.
