Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting in Sana'a, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration, Local and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani, discussed the results of the government's community-based plan to counter rain , flood damage and preserve the old city of Sana'a.
The meeting stressed the importance of community initiatives and utilizing the energies of the community in developing and improving services, in a way that translates the vision and Revolution Leader's directives in this regard, away from the interference of foreign organizations.
During the meeting, which included the Ministers of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafei, Youth and Sports, Dr. Ali Al-Mawled, and the head of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Abdul Wahab Al-Mahdi, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of unifying efforts within the government's emergency community plan program, which is being implemented in a number of districts and cities across the country.
For his part, the Minister of Culture and Tourism emphasized the importance of the historic city of Sana'a and the extent of the attention it deserves at the official and popular level as the most important cities in human history, pointing to the ministry's efforts to preserve historic cities in all cities.
The Minister of Youth and Sports pointed to the interest of the government of change and construction to work at the highest levels to preserve the ancient city of Sana'a and the historical cities in Yemen, stressing the ministry's support for such projects, noting the interaction of all parties and all efforts in this field.
