Hajjah - Saba:
A cultural event was held on Wednesday in al-Shaghaderah district of Hajjah province to mark Friday of Rajab and continue support for al-Aqsa.
During the event, province undersecretary for central district Ahmed al-Akhfash highlighted the pivotal role Yemenis have played in supporting Islam, the Noble Messenger (PBUH), and the oppressed throughout history.
He emphasized the significance of this occasion, recalling how the Yemenis were among the first to embrace Islam in large numbers at the hands of Imam Ali (PBUH).
Al-Akhfash also reviewed the history of Islam, drawing attention to the current challenges faced by Muslims. He condemned the ongoing aggressive attacks on Muslims, particularly in Palestine, and criticized the normalization efforts by some leaders with the Zionist entity.
He underscored the importance of commemorating Friday of Rajab to reinforce the faith identity, promote Islamic values, and inspire steadfastness. Al-Akhfash called for continued support for al-Aqsa and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are enduring a war of extermination in Gaza, witnessed by the world.
The event served as a reminder of Yemen's enduring commitment to the Palestinian cause and the need for unity and resilience in the face of global enemy.
