A meeting of the local authority and the executive office in Shabwa Governorate, headed by Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Nasser Al-Mahdar and Governor Awad Al-Awlaqi, discussed the annual performance reports for the year 2024 AD as well as reports and work plans for the year 2025 AD.
The meeting, which included the first deputy governor, Mohammed Al-Awlaqi, and the deputies Salah Al-Sayed, Engineer Malik Hussein, Hamza Al-Hamza, and the general directors of the executive offices and directorates of the governorate, reviewed a number of reports, work plans and difficulties, in addition to reports on the level of achievement in the security, military and social aspects and the progress of efforts to strengthen the fronts of pride and dignity and unify the efforts of the people of the governorate to protect the homeland and thwart all enemy plans.
The attendees took a number of decisions regarding activating the activity of the local authority and the executive office and enhancing performance in service, social and field aspects.
In the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development stressed the importance of coordinating efforts and unifying energies and capabilities to develop administrative performance in a way that contributes to organizing work, achieving progress and enhancing the level of government performance to serve the issues of the governorate and its people.
He pointed out the ministry's keenness to support local authorities in the governorates and give them all administrative powers that enable them to perform their work effectively and directly, indicating that a committee has been formed to evaluate the level of performance and follow up on all activities of local authorities in the governorates and work to solve any problems as soon as possible in a way that ensures development, modernization and keeping pace with all the needs of the southern and eastern governorates and all governorates of the republic according to the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, the President of the Supreme Political Council and the Government of Change and Construction.
The Deputy Minister pointed to the role played by local authorities in supporting and developing community development by supporting and sponsoring the formation of community development associations that contribute to exploiting the energies of the governorate's people to improve income levels and provide suitable job opportunities for productive families, especially the families of martyrs.
In turn, Governor Al-Awlaqi stressed the importance of discussing annual performance reports to study achievements and review obstacles and needs, in a way that contributes to developing the performance of members of the local authority and the executive office, overcoming difficulties, and drawing up work plans to serve the governorate and its people. He pointed out the need to coordinate efforts in several areas to confront the aggression, complete the liberation process, and expel the new occupiers from the south of the country, noting that the work of the local authority and the executive office as one team contributed to overcoming many difficulties despite the lack of capabilities and difficulties caused by the aggression and its mercenaries.
