The Faith Identity Tournament for juniors and cubs opened on Thursday in Sana'a province, under the title "Faith is Yemeni and Wisdom is Yemeni".

A total of 16 sports teams, including 8 teams in the cubs category and 8 teams in the juniors category, are participating in the tournament, which will last for 20 days.

At the opening of the tournament, the director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif, explained that the sports teams were divided into eight groups, two groups for cubs and two groups for juniors, stressing that this tournament is organized in conjunction with the anniversary of Friday Rajab, embodying the identity of faith and promoting the meanings of faith among young people.

The inaugural match between Al-Aqsa Flood and Ansar Gaza ended with Ansar Gaza winning by three clean goals.
