Hodeida - Saba:
Hodeida province on Friday witnessed a series of women's activities and stands commemorating Rajab Friday, the anniversary of Yemenis embracing Islam and establishing their faith identity 1446 years ago.
The events also aimed to renew solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The activities, organized by the General Women's Cultural Authority, were held in key locations across Hodeida, including the squares of Hodeida city and the districts of al-Maghlaf and al-Dhahi. A large number of women from these areas participated, emphasizing the spiritual and historical significance of Rajab Friday.
The speakers at the events reflected on the importance of the anniversary in strengthening the Yemeni people's connection to their faith and identity, drawing inspiration from the words of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who described faith and wisdom as being inherently Yemeni. The commemoration was presented as a powerful reminder of Yemen's enduring love for the Messenger of God and their unwavering support for the Islamic message.
The participants highlighted the longstanding tradition of Yemeni bravery and their principled stance in defending God's religion and national causes. They recalled the nation's efforts in resisting tyranny, particularly during the past eight years of aggression and siege, which were portrayed as a testament to Yemen's unyielding faith and national pride.
The commemoration also focused on the importance of preserving Yemen's faith-based identity, underlining the necessity of continuing on the path of dignity, pride, and resistance against oppression. Emphasis was placed on using Rajab Friday as an opportunity to reinforce Yemen's connection to its historical roots and contributions to the spread of Islam across various stages.
A statement issued at the conclusion of the protests reaffirmed that the Yemeni people would never abandon their faith-based positions and are prepared to make any sacrifices necessary to confront the forces of American and Zionist oppression. The statement extended congratulations to the Yemeni people on the occasion of Rajab Friday and renewed their commitment to continue the battle for justice and support for Palestine.
The statement further stressed Yemen's victorious stance over the past year, declaring that the people will persist in their steadfastness and efforts toward ultimate victory, regardless of the challenges ahead. The message called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to join Yemen in this righteous struggle, trusting in God's guidance and support.
