Hodeidah - Saba:
The Guidance Sector and the Scholars and Educators Unit in Hodeidah Governorate organized a cultural seminar to commemorate Friday of Rajab - the anniversary of the Yemenis' conversion to Islam, and the identity of the Yemeni people in supporting the oppressed and triumphing for the religion of God and confronting the forces of global arrogance.
The axes and words of the seminar focused on the implications of commemorating this anniversary and the practical evidence of the identity of the Yemenis rooted in history and their well-known roles in supporting religion and defending Islam, and linking the past to the present with Yemen's courageous position in supporting the oppression of the Palestinian people.
In the symposium, the first deputy governor, Ahmed Al-Bishri, stressed the importance of celebrating and rejoicing on the occasion to enhance the faith identity and introduce the history of the people of Yemen and the great advantage that God Almighty has given them over many nations.
He pointed out that commemorating the anniversary of Rajab Friday is an educational faith station that strengthens in the souls of Yemenis the adherence to their faith identity and moral values to defend religion, Islamic sanctities and the issues of the nation, including the Palestinian issue, which is exposed to great betrayal, failure and conspiracy by the rulers of Arab countries.
For their part, the officials of the Scholars Unit in the governorate, Sheikh Ali Somal, and the square of the city of Hodeidah, Saleh Al-Harazi, and the scholar Muhammad Darwish, addressed Yemen's exceptional position in solidarity with the Palestinian brothers, embodying the authenticity of Yemen and the religious, civilizational and human identity of its people.
The scholars reviewed the great role of Yemenis in bearing religious responsibility since the dawn of Islam by contributing to spreading the Muhammadan message, indicating that Rajab Friday, which the people of Yemen celebrate today and distinguish themselves from other peoples, indicates great loyalty to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family.
