Occupied Quds - Saba:
The former Zionist minister, Haim Ramon, admitted that the achievements achieved by the occupation "army" in the battlefields outside Gaza "confirm the depth of failure in the Strip," after "the inability to achieve the main goal of the war, which is the overthrow of Hamas rule and the elimination of its military capacity."
Ramon pointed out in an article he wrote in the Zionist newspaper "Maariv" today, Friday, that Hamas's military power is still operating, and that its civilian rule still extends throughout Gaza Strip, despite the movement being hit hard, and the martyrdom of both Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh, along with thousands of fighters.
The former Zionist minister noted that Hamas "still controls all areas where the Zionist army is not present, maintains a large military force, holds 100 prisoners, and conducts effective fighting against Zionist forces."
He also pointed to Hamas' ability to fire rockets at Israel. He said: "Until this week, rockets continued to fall from Gaza Strip, as if we hadn't fought there for 15 months."
Ramon emphasized that the war in Gaza Strip "constitutes a resounding strategic failure." He explained that this failure "was the result of a faulty strategic plan , the inability of the military , political leadership to draw lessons and adopt an alternative strategic plan."
