An expanded meeting in the fifth military region on Saturday, led by Major General Yousef al-Madani, the region's commander, focused on mobilization efforts and preparations to counter potential movements by foreign aggression forces.
The meeting included the governors of Hodeida, Hajjah, Mahweet, and Raymah, as well as security and military leaders.
The gathering addressed the service and development conditions in these four provinces, while discussing military and security arrangements to confront any actions by American, Zionist, and British forces.
Key figures present at the meeting included Major General Ali Hussein al-Houthi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security and Intelligence, and Major General Nasser al-Lakomi, the Mobilization Officer at the Ministry of Defense, among other senior military and security officials.
General al-Madani stressed the importance of unity and efficient coordination in improving performance across the governorates, with a particular focus on supporting the people and enhancing mobilization efforts.
He lauded the operations conducted by the armed forces against foreign adversaries, including strikes against Zionist targets in Palestine, reinforcing Yemen's position in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
The governors of the affected provinces discussed local service conditions and security measures, noting the active mobilization and recruitment efforts as part of the preparation for any escalation by enemy forces. They also emphasized coordination with security services to ensure stability.
The meeting highlighted the ongoing mobilization, training, and readiness plans aimed at strengthening Yemen's defense and countering potential threats, with officials reaffirming their commitment to protect national security and maintain public order.
