The education sector in Sana'a province on Saturday organized a cultural event , marking the Friday of Rajab under the theme "The Yemenis' Entry into Islam." The event emphasized the establishment of the faith identity and the ongoing support for Gaza.
First undersecretary of the province Hamid Asim spoke about Yemen’s distinguished status in Islam, citing Quranic verses and prophetic hadiths that highlight the nation’s role in supporting the oppressed and defending righteousness.
He called for renewed commitment to the faith identity, urging the public to strengthen resilience in the face of adversity and continue their support for al-Aqsa. Asim also emphasized the importance of preparing for direct confrontation with American and Israeli forces, stressing that Yemen’s strength comes from its unwavering faith.
Taleb Dahan, head of the education sector in the province, reflected on Yemen’s transformation after converting to Islam and the honor granted by the Prophet Muhammad to the Yemeni people.
He warned against the dangers of the soft war and the enemies’ efforts to distort the faith identity, fragment society, and undermine Islamic values.
Dahan urged the audience to return to the Quran and follow the prophetic path to safeguard against foreign influences and false ideologies.
